  • Anna Bye - Company Owner, Mortgage & Insurance Broker

Anna is the high-flier at Prospect Mortgage Brokers– she has been in the mortgage profession for more than 30 years and when she is not helping a client land the house of their dreams she flies planes in Suffolk.

Anna joined the industry when she was aged 20 and today she still enjoys the challenge of solving financial problems for clients. She used to run The Mortgage Mill and then changed to the current name in 2019 when her son Alistair joined the business.

Anna’s long-standing experience means that she has handled many changes in mortgage regulation throughout the years and she keeps pace with new rules and guidelines.

One of her biggest achievements outside work was obtaining her private pilot’s licence and she enjoys skeet clay pigeon shooting with Alistair. Exploring nature, taking photographs of wildlife and sport, lead to a varied lifestyle for Anna.

  • Alistair Patrick - Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Alistair benefits from his mother’s wealth of experience in the mortgage profession. He joined Prospect Mortgage Brokers in 2019 and, working side by side, he has listened and learnt just what it takes to find the best mortgage.

Alistair’s desire to help people ensures that his friendly approach can cut through any complex issues and he is delighted when he sorts out what could be considered a difficult case. He says that a customer’s compliment after settling a tricky issue drives him to overcoming other challenges in the busy but rewarding mortgage world.

He had an apprenticeship with BT which helped him achieve a degree in Network Engineering before deciding to pursue a job in mortgages.

Skeet clay pigeon shooting with his mother and visiting beautiful sights around the world occupy some of his spare time and Alistair also enjoys the competitive edge of video games.

She managed a caseload of clients in the Dept for Work and Pensions, and it is that ability to juggle a wide range of needs from different people that has proved invaluable at Prospect. She left the civil service after 23 years, joined Anna in 2016 and thrives on life in the mortgage world.

Married with one son, she enjoys an outdoor lifestyle. Taking two retired racing greyhounds for a walk, or riding her horse through the beautiful Suffolk countryside and occasionally entering dressage competitions ensure that Zoe strikes an enjoyable work/life balance.
